What is DCACLab?

DCACLab is a browser-based virtual electronics lab where users build, simulate, and study circuits in real time. No software installation required — everything runs online.

Originally launched in 2009 as one of the first online circuit simulators, DCACLab has grown into a comprehensive platform used by schools, universities, vocational programs, and training centers across more than 20 countries.

🎓

Teachers

Create interactive lessons, assign circuit projects, and track student progress with real-time results.

📚

Students

Build and experiment with circuits using real components and measurement tools — anytime, anywhere.

🏫

Institutions

Manage classrooms, create assignments, track student progress, and deploy at scale with institutional licensing.

What Our Users Say

"This is the most beautiful app I've ever used. Everything works — the loud bell, the buzzer buzzing, the fan spinning. Love this app."

Hayden Dziadosz
Student, Community High School District 117

"We were able to hit the ground running as soon as we started using it. Everything is straightforward and easy to understand. For anybody wishing to use a circuit analysis package, I wouldn't recommend anything other than DCACLab."

Darren Jackson
Senior Control Systems Engineer, March

"The breadboard feature looks fantastic — it will be a valuable tool for teaching prototyping and circuit design."

Chris Correll
Program Director, Engineering Technology, Orion Technical College

Our Journey

2009
DCACLab launches as one of the first online circuit simulation platforms, making virtual electronics labs accessible directly in the browser.
Classroom Tools Added
Assignment system, student management, grading, and LMS integration capabilities introduced — turning DCACLab from a simulator into a full teaching platform.
2020 — Remote Learning
Schools and universities worldwide adopt DCACLab for remote lab sessions during COVID-19, when physical labs were inaccessible — from Concordia University to automotive engineering programs.
Today
Over 261,000 users and 69,000+ circuits created. DCACLab continues to serve educators and learners across more than 20 countries with ongoing development and direct support.

About the Founder

Samir Sabri

Founder & Product Engineer

I'm a computer science graduate with a career spanning IT and educational software development. I built DCACLab because I believe the best way to learn electronics is by doing — building circuits, testing ideas, and seeing results in real time.

When I launched DCACLab in 2009, there were very few online circuit simulators available. The goal was simple: make electronics education accessible to anyone with a browser. That goal hasn't changed.

I'm always happy to hear from educators, students, and institutions. If you have suggestions, feedback, or questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Our Roots

Said Sabri at his workshop, 1966

DCACLab's story started long before the first line of code. My father, Said Sabri, was a professional electrician. Growing up, I built simple lamp circuits at his workbench — and that hands-on experience shaped everything DCACLab would become.

The platform carries that same workshop philosophy: learn by doing, test your ideas, and see the results for yourself.

Work With DCACLab
